The Snack Aisle
Alexx and Nathan's story starts near the end of 2016 in a well-known San Francisco Safeway. They'd each gone out with a friend to a Jon Bellion concert and met in the snack aisle — hustling for provisions before the last train home.
A few weeks and a board game night later, their first date took place on December 1st in downtown Mountain View.
Home in Redwood City
Redwood City has been home for the last nine years — easy to track by the ever-growing height of the game shelf. The city has grown and changed right alongside them, with new restaurants and bars popping up all the time.
Trivia nights have been a staple over the years, most recently at the Wild Rover. Music in the square, Oktoberfest, craft markets, and more have kept them enjoying everything Redwood City has to offer.
Around the World
When they aren't at home, Alexx can be found being dragged along to some new corner of the world by Nathan. First to Japan, then around the UK, Mexico, and beyond.
2025
The Proposal
Hawaii has been one of their favorite relaxation destinations over the years, so it only made sense that their most recent trip took them to Maui. On the boardwalk, with a sunset in the distance, Alexx and Nathan got engaged.
And now here we are — getting married on November 28, 2026, in Monterey, California.
